 Functions and features
The diffuse-reflection sensor detects objects and materials without contact and
indicates their presence by a switched signal.
Range: see type label.

The sensor is to switch when no object is detected:
1. Press the [OUT on] button when no object is present.
2. Position the object and press the [OUT off] button.
Setting of the maximum sensitivity
The sensor is to switch when the object is detected:
. Align the unit so that no light is reflected.
. First press the [OUT on] button then the [OUT off] button.
The sensor is to switch when no object is detected:
. Align the unit so that no light is reflected.
. First press the [OUT off] button then the [OUT on] button.
Lock or unlock the push buttons:
. Press both buttons for 10 s.
> Acknowledgement is indicated by a change of the yellow LED status.
Programming failed:
> The yellow LED flashes quickly (8 Hz).
. Measured value difference too small.
. Max. programming time of 15 min. exceeded.
