Coating work has significant
impacts on the environment and human health;
thus, reducing the amount of
coating materials used is a major issue.
1) PRTR: Abbreviation for Pollutant
Release and Transfer Register. The PRTR
Law requires the reporting of release of specific chemical substances to the
environment and the promotion of the i
mprovement of their management. It is
intended to promote improvements in the voluntary management of chemical
substances by businesses and to prevent impediments to environmental protection.

Notice of Change in Surface Finish
We hereby announce that the surface
finish of MDC-01/03 and MDS-01/03 for
01/03 series modular valves, all of
which have been highly regarded since their
release, is changed from black paint coating to phosphate coating.
■ Description of the Change
In this context, we have decided to change the surface finish of the products from
paint coating to phosphate coating for the purpose of reducing environmental and
human health impacts.
Note that this change is not accompanied by remodeling of the products (the
product design remains unchanged).
